Yvonne – Front Office Coordinator/Orthodontic Assistant
Yvonne and her family have lived in Ryndon for 35 years and she has been working with Dr. Okubo since 2016. Four of her five children can credit Dr. Okubo with their beautiful smiles. Yvonne loves greeting and interacting with all our patients and their families as they come into our Elko office. In her spare time, Yvonne enjoys raising pure bred dogs, riding horses, camping, traveling and spending time with her family. Because of Yvonne’s understanding of the importance of creating a welcoming environment in our office, our patients love seeing her behind our front desk and chair side each time they come in for their monthly adjustments.
Shelley – Orthodontic Assistant
Shelley, her husband and 4 children have been living in the Sandy area for the past 28 years. Shelley Joined Dr. Okubo’s orthodontic family in early 2013 and has quickly become an invaluable asset to our practice. Shelley makes our Utah office a warm and inviting environment for our patients no matter their age. Shelley looks forward to seeing all of our patients each month and is proud to be a part of their orthodontic transformation.

Melissa – Front Office Coordinator/Reception
Melissa grew up in Orem, Utah and has lived in the Magna, Utah area for 24 years. Five of her eight children can thank Dr. Okubo for their “Okubo Smile.” Melissa received two associate degrees and graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a bachelor’s degree. Melissa loves to visit her family, play card and board games, hike, visit Utah’s lakes and just play in the water. In her spare time, she can be found reading, crocheting, or serving in her community. Melissa has enjoyed working for Dr. Okubo for a year, she has been coming to the Midvale/Magna offices since 2014 with her family. She loves getting to know patients and their families, meeting new people and learning new skills she uses in the office.
